Aggie Aggie fills her shopping cart with treasures that she finds assorted bits and pieces that have value in her mind the empty cold cream jar she found is a lovely shade of blue and the unmatched cup and saucer have just a chip or two Once she found a silver spoon without a single scratch no matter that her fork is steel or that the two don't match the denim vest's a bit too big but Aggie won't complain its pockets hold the treasures her cart cannot contain some old-time metal bottle caps remind her of her youth some pretty stones, a bit of chalk with which she writes the truth Though she has other valuables in places where she hides her random bits of beauty are always by her side c. 8/19/09, B.
