Nothing Lasts Forever

the longest drought still ends with rain
the sweetest love will end with pain
however great the life may be
in time we all must be set free

though we may love and live like saints
our hopes and dreams have time constraints
for life must one day rest in peace
when earthly efforts all will cease

yet do not mourn the end so much
for other lives await our touch
beyond our sun more planets fly
surrounding stars in other skies
