Moment by Moment My memories live in boxes sealed in bubbles floating in time each has a separate lock and key with a reason for each rhyme Each point in my time stands alone events don't ebb or flow was this before or after that it's hard for me to know My whens are are all in limbo and clues can be quite spare what color was the carpet and what length was my hair Where had each thing taken place and what years was I there what people were around me what clothing did I wear Sequences are difficult but lists can see me through I break each journey into steps and check what I must do Bubble time has benefits that flowing time can't give excising pain from times of love it changes how I live Pain is cut in slices each short enough to bear sadness breaks in segments so crying spells are rare Happy times are always found just one step away no matter if years have elapsed for me it's just a day c. 12/2008 B.Riley
