Cool Loneliness

I like it when folks are around,
but it's alright when they are not
contentment is something I've found
trav'ling out or stuck in one spot

my own company sustains me
I cherish my moments alone
mem'ries of life entertain me
I'm not one to piss and to moan

I thrive in each instant awake
my senses record at high speed
so I can replay each outtake
and slow it as much as I need

alone's supposed to mean lonely
everyone says that's the rule
but if this feeling is lonely
then I have to say that it's cool
