Belief Systems

There is no solid proof in a brain
There are no hard facts in soft tissue
     and though you may seek, you will find
     you can't pin things down in your mind.

There is no documenting of thought
You can't do synapses synopses
     so much is undone and unsaid
     who can say what is real in your head

There is no black and white in grey matter
Neurons are not off and on switches
     the answer will never be plain
     for there's no yes and no in your brain.
